Delete your account
You have two ways to permanently delete your Sale Scout account and the data tied to it. Both routes are free, and you do not need to be signed in to use this page.
Option 1 — In-app (fastest, instant)
Sign in, go to Account, scroll to "Danger zone", and tap Delete my account. Deletion is immediate.
Option 2 — Email request (no sign-in needed)
Lost access? Email us from the address tied to your account and we'll verify and delete within 7 days.

What gets deleted
- Your profile, display name, avatar, and account email
- Your sale listings, photos, and saved drafts
- Direct messages you sent (copies in other inboxes follow the same retention rules)
- Reviews, ratings, community posts, and comments
- Push tokens, notification preferences, follows, blocks, and reminders
What we may retain
- Payment records (required by tax & accounting law) — minimum 7 years
- Moderation/abuse history of banned accounts (to prevent re-registration)
- Backups overwritten within 30 days
